For more than 25 years, I have worked with children, adults and families navigating all stages of life. I've worked in child welfare, schools, program management and development, outpatient and inpatient programs, and private practice. In my career I have supervised over 150 aspiring and new therapists starting on their own service journey and I continue to supervise.
I earned my Bachelor's in English and Political Science from Saint Mary’s College; Master of Social Work from New York University; Master of Public Administration from The City University of New York, Baruch College. I have multiple Post-Graduate Certificates in Addictions, Advanced Clinical Practice and Expressive Arts. I also have my Pupil Personnel Services Credential, to provided school-based mental health services. I am a registered play-therapist.
While being a native Californian I spent 18 years on the East Coast in Philadelphia and New York City. I love traveling and emerging myself in the history and food of communities. I enjoy reading, live music, doing puzzles, taking long walks and being by water, especially the ocean. I will see a Broadway play or go to Disneyland whenever I can. I enjoy spending time with my family and connecting with friends.
